Andres trabaja profundamente la riqueza de la mezcla timbrística entre lo docto y lo étnico. Sus composiciones mantienen un ambiente fresco y de exelencia musical. Desde sutiles temas, hasta otros más rítmicos, nos lleva por el asombroso viaje, con un marcado "acento chileno", combinando ademas sonoridades de la naturaleza chilena y de las cultura del mundo. Andres Condon, compositor, productor y sonidista, nacio en Santiago de Chile.
Su musica es definida por una sensible conexion con la naturaleza. Esto le ha permitido tomar parte en producciones musicales y audio-visuales, que han sido fundamentales en las areas de la educacion y el medio ambiente. Junto con sus clases normales, su interes en la musica comenzo a la edad de 14 años, recibiendo instrucion en guitarra, armonia, teoria y composicion por parte de los profesores Guillermo Rifo, Rodrigo Apablaza y Francisco Larrain. Gano una beca para estudiar en el Centro de Estudios de Musica Popular, dirigida por el director y compositor Guillermo Rifo. Su primer concierto, fue simultaneamente su primera produccion musical, incorporando desde el comienzo estos talentos y espertizajes. Esto fue seguido de numerosos conciertos como solista y junto a su ensamble musical.
Desde 1982 hasta 1989 vivio la experiencia de ser parte del grupo de trabajo de la premiada serie de television, “Al Sur del Mundo”. Grabo los sonidos y colaboro en la creacion de la musica incidental para el serie. Ha creado musica para numerosos documentales de television.
Despues de haber estado trabajando por varios años en el mundo cultural chileno, se dio cuenta lo dificil que era para los musicos chilenos de distribuir su musica. A raiz de esto, se asocio con Rodrigo Cepeda para formar un nuevo sello de musica independiente “Mundovivo” (www.mundovivo.cl) Mundovivo produce y distribuye varios artistas chilenos, europeos y norteamericanos. Mundovivo ha sido muy importante en el apoyo de la cultura y realizacion del arte chileno.
A la fecha ha publicado 7 discos: "Caminos del Agua" (más de 20.000 copias vendidas en Chile), el ciclo del agua en musica y sonidos. "Nómade" (18.000 en Chile), trabajo solista, que combina diversos instrumentos de cuerdas. “Waves of Silence”, musica que nos invita a contemplar lo profundo del silencio. "Dharma Moments", grabado en Alemania junto al musico aleman Amaresh Seelig, "Corazon de Aguila", temas con bella poesia y colaboracion de 15 musicos chilenos, alemanes e ingleses, "Cuerdas al Viento", arreglos para Guitarra, Flauta Traversa y Percusion y "Dancing Flame", recien editado y distribuido por el Sello Aleman "Silenzio".
Andres, estuvo en colaboracion directa con el “Proyecto Bosqueduca”, el cual es pionero en la educacion chilena, apoyando con conciertos, talleres y grabaciones. El CD "Musica y Sonidos del Bosque Chileno", el cual grabo para el projecto, gano el premio “Chucao”, que le otorga el Ministerio de Educacion a artistas que hacen contribuciones importantes a la educacion y el medioambiente, a traves de la musica y las artes.
Como un multi instrumentalista y sonidista, ha experimentado mezclando los sonidos que graba directamente de la naturaleza, con su expresion emocional producida por diversos instrumentos como guitarra, bandurria, mandolina, viola caipira, tiple, cuatro, charango.
Desde 1989 hasta 1995 vivio en al ciudad de Valdivia, realizando numerosos conciertos con su banda "Delaire", produciendo y grabando musicos locales como Vicente Aguilera y Grupo "Nexos". Ademas junto al musico Coke Vio, graban diversos comerciales para radio y television.
Desde 1995, ha estado radicado en Estados Unidos y Alemania, realizando giras y dando conciertos en Canada, USA y Europa. Andres Condon represento a Chile, en el "Latin American Festival" y en el "State of the World Forum", realizados en el Royal Albert Hall, Londres Inglaterra y en el en San Francisco, USA.

Andres is a multi instrumentalist, singer, composer, producer & sound engineer. It was born in Santiago de Chile. Its music stands in a very special deep relation to nature. This led him on music productions in the frame of Chilean development and environmental protection programs. In 2000, Andres Condon received the "Chucao price" of the Chilean Education Ministry for this work. As one of the most important Chilean musicians in "World Music", Andres has been performing in numerous international concert halls and festival. He was invited to perform at the "Latin American Festival" in the Royal Albert Hall in London, as well as in the "State of the World Forum" in San Francisco. He was part of the team of the prize-winning series of TV "Al Sur del Mundo" as a composer of incidental music and sound engineer. During this period, he composed numerous music soundtracks for series of TV.
In order to help Chilean musicians established, he joint with musician colleague Rodrigo Cepeda (Subhira), launching a new independent music Label "Mundovivo", (www.mundovivo.cl)
Andres has recorded 7 CDS: "Caminos del Agua", Nomad", Waves of Silence", "Dharma Moments", "Corazon de Aguila" and "Cuerdas al Viento".
Since 2004, Andres is living in Germany, from where he travels giving concerts tours in Canada, USA, Chile and numerous European countries.
Andres experiments with natural sounds that records directly from nature and mixes with an emotional and expressive mixes of voices and different instruments (Guitar, Bandurria, Mandolin, Tiple, Cuatro, Charango).

Andres ist Multi-Instrumentalist, Sänger, Komponist, Musikproduzent und Toningenieur. Er wurde 1957 in Santiago de Chile geboren und wuchs dort in einer Familie mit großer musikalischer Tradition auf. Seine Musik steht in ganz besonders tiefer Beziehung zur Natur. Das führte dazu, dass er zur Mitarbeit an Musikproduktionen im Rahmen chilenischer Bildungs- und Umweltschutz-programme eingeladen wurde. Im Jahr 2000 erhielt Andres Condon für diese Arbeit den „Chucao Preis“ des chilenischen Erziehungsministeriums. Als einer der wichtigsten chilenischen Musiker aus dem Bereich "Weltmusik" ist Andres seit Jahren in zahlreichen internationalen Konzertsälen und Festivals zu hören. So war er Gast beim „Latein Amerikanischen Festival“ in der Royal Albert Hall in London/ England sowie beim „State of the World Forum“ in San Francisco/ USA. Sieben Jahre war Andres im Team der preisgekrönten TV-Serie „Al Sur del Mundo“ (Im Süden der Welt) mit dabei – als Komponist von Hintergrundmusik und Toningenieur. Während dieser Periode entstanden zahlreiche Musikstücke für TV-Serien, die er nicht nur komponierte, sondern auch selbst zur Aufführung brachte und professionell aufzeichnete.
Um chilenischen Musikern dabei zu helfen, ihre Musik im In- und Ausland bekannter zu machen, gründete er gemeinsam mit seinem Musikerkollegen Rodriga Cepeda (Subhira) ein neues unabhängiges Musik-Label: Mundovivo (www.mundovivo.cl), unter dem seitdem Musik aus Chile, Nordamerika und Europa veröffentlicht und vermarktet wird – darunter auch eigene Produktionen von Andres, wie die CDs „Caminos del Agua“ (Wege des Wassers), Nomad“ (Nomade), Waves of Silence“ (Wellen der Stille), "Dharma Moments", "Corazon de Aguila" und "Cuerdas al Viento".
Seit 2003 lebt Andres Condon in Deutschland, von wo er immer wieder große Konzerttourneen ins Ausland unternimmt, insbesondere nach Kanada, Chile, in die USA und in zahlreiche europäische Länder. In der Musik von Andres Condon wird seine große Liebe zur Natur, aber auch einer tiefe überkonfessionelle Spiritualität immer wieder hörbar.
Andres experimentiert immer wieder mit Tönen, die er direkt in der Natur aufnimmt und mit den emotionalen expressiven Klängen von Stimmen sowie verschiedenen Instrumenten (Gitarren, Band‚urria, Mandoline, Viola Caipira, Tiple, Cuatro, Charango) mischt.
